BTO – Mui Ne is no longer as rustic as those times now gone when you can find out luxury resorts, spa, shopping centers, restaurants along the coastline instead of the green coconut trees and layers of sand covering the main streets leading to the local fishing villages. Since the natural phenomenon “Solar eclipse” triggered in 1995, the location has made many facelifts and become “the Vietnam capital of resorts”.

The old cultural traits, landscapes and fishermen in fade loose-fitting blouse were captured by many Vietnamese and foreign photographers in 1971 and posted on the website “Panoramio.com” in the name “Good Ole Times”. Those amazing photos around Phan Thiet taken from the good old time helps young generations learn more about the indigenous history of Ham Tien - Mui Ne. Besides photos shooting nice moments of poor fishing villages in Ham Tien – Phan Thiet in 1971, the “Good Ole Times” has hundreds of photos capturing other areas surrounding Phan Thiet since 1960.
